About the film
This short is a nostalgic reflection on created memories. As we follow three friends around the beautiful city of Berlin, we’re holding on the days we may only understand once they passed. Embracing the importance of true friendship and living in the moment.
Berlin appears here not as postcard, but as a rhythm of streets friends share until they don’t. The camera stays close enough to feel casual, then pulls back just when nostalgia threatens to freeze the moment.
Why it sits in the archive
SIFE screens work that treats friendship, play, and urban movement as political without becoming didactic. Ode to Friendship belongs in that lane: short, warm, and precise about what it means to hold each other in a city that keeps moving.
